Christopher Ferragamo is a Director at Jackson & Campbell in the Insurance Coverage Practice Group where he represents insurance companies in complex coverage cases arising from toxic tort, environmental, professional liability, and construction defects matters. Christopher also provides clients with coverage analysis and recommendations regarding primary, umbrella and excess general liability policies, pollution legal liability policies, various types of professional liability policies, and directors and officers liability policies.
Christopher has litigated cases in state and federal courts in many jurisdictions, including Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, The District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
Prior to joining the firm, Christopher spent several years representing clients in a wide range of civil matters involving insurance coverage litigation, premises liability, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, construction liability, and automobile liability cases.
Christopher is a 2007 graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s (“NITA”) “National Session” in Louisville, Colorado. Founded in 1971, NITA is recognized as the premier trial advocacy training institute for practicing attorneys.
Christopher received a B.A. from Boston College in 1997 where he majored in Political Science. During his junior year at Boston College, Christopher spent a semester in London, England where he worked as a legislative aide to a member of the British House of Commons and attended classes at London Guildhall University.
Christopher graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2001. While at Suffolk University Law School, Christopher received American Jurisprudence Awards in Labor Law and Professional Responsibility. Christopher was also the recipient of the Best Brief Award, designated as a Distinguished Oral Advocate in the First Year Moot Court Section Competition, and received the Thomas A. Pennesi Memorial Scholarship Award in 2000. Mr. Ferragamo was also a member of the Moot Court Board where he served as the Production Editor and authored an article for the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.
In 2014 was selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers Magazine for his work in Insurance Coverage.
