Tim Dingilian joined Jackson & Campbell in 1983. He gained extensive civil trial and appellate experience in medical malpractice defense and other general civil matters. He has served as lead counsel in numerous jury/bench trials and contested hearings in a wide variety of cases. He has litigated in state and federal courts throughout the United States and before the American Arbitration Association, where he has successfully represented manufacturers, insurers, hospitals, universities, property managers, and individuals.
Since 1988, Tim’s practice has been almost exclusively in the area of casualty insurance coverage, with an emphasis on cases involving toxic torts, environmental claims, construction defect, asbestos and asbestos-related bankruptcies, and product liability matters. During this period, Tim has been extensively involved in all phases of coverage litigation in many hundreds of cases, while at the same time assuming supervisory responsibility over many other client matters. He also routinely provides counseling and guidance to our insurance carrier clients on coverage, litigation, bad faith issues, healthcare and professional liability issues. He is frequently called upon to supervise other coverage counsel with less experience.
Tim is a member of the American College of Coverage and Extra-Contractual Counsel, which is composed of preeminent coverage and extra-contractual counsel in the United States and Canada. Tim’s hard work and dedication led to Corporate America Legal Elite naming Jackson & Campbell’s Insurance Coverage Group the Best for Casualty Insurance Coverage- Washington, D.C. for 2015.
He also is an alumnus of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and he has conducted seminars on insurance coverage and trial practice.
